Begin
by meditating and raising power. Imagine a well of power inside your
solar plexus, or along your spine, to be glowing. It radiates
outwards so brightly that it is blinding to look at.
Consider yourself to be a god with the power to create artifacts and consecrate the mundane in to the sacred.
Hold your hands over or around the object. Imagine your powerful energy gently flowing through your hands and covering the object, but also going inside the object and being fully absorbed. Say words to this effect:
“By my name [your full name], you are made holy. By the divine power within me, you are also made divine. By my will, you are made sacred.”
You should get the feeling in just a few moments that your work is done. Imagine the flow of power to stop. Seal your work with a statement like this:
“So mote it be.”
Why?
It is my belief that all humans are divine. If you share this belief, you may agree that we have the power to make things holy.
To consecrate something by your power under your word makes it holy to you, and one of your sacred tools. This grants the object power by your name.
Try consecrating consumable ingredients (candles, incense) and see if you like it. Then move on to more permanent tools.
You identify your own divine nature in yourself, then infuse an object with that divinity to make it sacred.
If you do not get the feeling that the object has been consecrated, you may have not reached the ‘level’ to use this technique. Try working on these aspects instead:
- Unblocking
your astral body and making it strong
- Raising
energy and directing it
- Connecting
with your divine center and waking it up to make it stronger (of
course, this is not an option if you do not believe you are divine!)
- Purifying the objects ahead of time so there are no energy blockages to get in the way
